Toshiba Satellite M65-S809
I really like Toshiba’s latest lines of products. They look so nice, and function rather well with a diverse range of specifications and models. The M65-S809 looks like a great addition to the family. Infosync World with the details.
Preparing for the holiday season, Toshiba today announced the introduction of the Satellite M65-S809, a the company’s most recent addition to its line-up of 17-inch notebooks. A lightweight desktop replacement notebook, the M65-S809 weighs in at 3.32 Kg with a widescreen display sporting TruBrite technology and a WXGA resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, powered by an Intel GMA 900 chipset with 8-128 MB dynamically allocated.
Powered by an Intel Pentium M 740 processor running at 1.73 GHz with 2 MB of L2 cache atop an Intel 915 GM chipset, the Satellite M65-S809 comes configured with 512 MB of DDR2 533 MHz SDRAM, expandable to 2 GB. Also present is a 100 GB EIDE drive, spinning at 5,400 RPM alongside a DVD SuperMulti drive supporting a total of 11 formats.
With a battery life of up to 4 hours and 45 minutes, this laptop is going on my “must have” list, though my budget prevents me from getting it right this second. Starting at $1,500 USD, the Toshiba Satellite M65-S809 should be immediately available from Toshiba.
