Dell Extends Windows XP Media Center Range
Dell is going to end up putting Media Center Edition on more of its laptops over the coming months and BIOS Magazine has the details:
The availability of Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 on Dell PCs means consumers will be able to access digital entertainment like live and recorded television, photos, movies and music that reside on the Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 PC from any room in the house. You can also record up to two live TV shows at the same time and watch when convenient, and use your PC while programmes are recording in the background
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 will be available on the Dimension 3100, 5150, 5150c, 9100, 9150 and XPS 600. It will also be available on the Inspiron 6000, 9300 and XPS M170 laptops.
