HP Special Edition L2000

HP L2000Everyone is crazy for the Livestrong campaign and HP is quick to pick up on the buzz, and release the HP Special Edition L2000. $50 of each purchase goes to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and the laptop is not too bad either.

The basic configuration is rather inexpensive at $899.00 and comes with a nice Livestrong case design, Altec Lansing speakers and a Turion 64 Mobile cpu running at 1.6 GHz.

Other specs on the basic model include 512 MB DDR, 60 GB IDE hard drive, and ATI RADEON(R) XPRESS 200M video technology all packed in a 5.3 pound machine that is 1.3 inches thick.

More heavily featured models are available with a faster processor, more ram, and bigger hard drives, but the price goes up rather quickly and can get rather expensive.

The computer packs two great incentives to buy, as not only are you supporting the Lance Armstrong Foundation, but you are getting a well built machine with a more than adequate feature set.
