LG Xnote S1

LG Xnote S1LG is one of the many companies people forget about when they are thinking about getting a laptop, and really they should be thinking LG as one of the first on their list, as they have some really stylish machines, and if you are thinking Core Duo for your processor, then LG already has a machine for you. Coming in black and while, the Xnote S1 is thin and stylish.

One of the most noteable features is the inclusion of the Intel Dual Core CPU. The next thing you’ll likely notice is the 15.4 inch WSXGA screen that has a beautiful 1680×1050 pixel default resolution.

If you want to throw a party, the Xnote S1 includes 5.1 surround sound, so between the display and the sound, you have a pretty nice portable theatre. There is also a dedicated “Direct Media Experience Button” that shoots you straight into an interface designed for DVD, CD, or MP3 playback.

For gaming you will be lookinga t one of ATI’s new Mobility Radeon X1300’s or higher, which is better than an integrated solution by far.

While there is no mention of the battery life or any other details on specifications at this time, it looks like LG is earning its place in the laptop world.
