LG Xnote TX
LG is releasing the LG Xnote TX sometime in the future, and already people are taking note, as the machine is a stunning ultra-portable notebook with some really decent features. The Xnote TX has a 1.3 GHz Pentium-M ULV 773 processor, 2GB of DDR RAM, 60GB of storage space, and an average 64MB Geforce Go 7300 graphics module.
Some of what really sets this machine apart is the fact that it has some serious connectivity built in, going beyond the normal 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth 1.2 connectivity due to the addition of a DMB, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, module for mobile television reception. You might have to squint a bit, as the LG Xnote TX is wrapped in a 12.1 inch, 1280×800 WXGA display. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the DMB technology in many parts of the world, but it is expanding, and it is always nice to have the option if available.
The pricing and availability for the Xnote TX have not yet been announced, but hopefully we will hear more soon.
