ATI Chips to be in Windows Vista-ready ThinkPad Notebooks
Newlaunches.com has a quick post about the ATI announcement of its mobile graphics processors. It looks like Windows Vista is not going to like integrated/shared graphics processors, and so cards from ATI and other companies are going to be the way notebooks will have to be when Vista comes out.

In addition, the graphics chip vendor says that all of its current graphic chips support the next-generation OS. The ThinkPad Z60m series features ATI’s discrete Radeon X600 graphics chip and the ThinkPad R51e line uses its Radeon Xpress 200M chipset with DirectX 9 integrated graphics, respectively, said the company.
