BenQ Launches the World’s Fastest 15.4” Laptop Display
BenQ today launched the Joybook R53 – the world’s fastest 15.4” display laptop with a 16 ms response time that provides consumers with a compact, full-featured laptop with quality display and unparalleled multimedia performance.

The newest addition to BenQ’s award-winning Joybook series, the BenQ Joybook R53 is equipped with a new generation of technology that reduces the rotational viscosity of the liquid crystal molecule, which effectively eliminates the ghosting from fast-moving objects and renders extra-sharp motion images at an ultra-fast response time of 16ms. This innovative technology once again highlights BenQ’s determination at continuing to provide quality display laptops to consumers.
The BenQ Joybook R53 is a portable multimedia hub that incorporates many optimized features, including the capabilities of noise reduction and echo cancellation. The BenQ Joybook R53 is also outfitted with ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 that provides superior graphics. The new laptop is also bundled with one month of free Skype voicemail software, and is an ideal choice for busy professionals whether at work or leisure. This compact portable laptop also offers an ergonomics keyboard design that provides a refined keycap cushioning and a reduced excessive key resistance, which effectively help alleviate the stress and fatigue resulting from extended hours of typing. In addition, the BenQ Joybook R53 is available in two colors: light silver and dark silver blue, and is also available in two screen sizes, 15.4” and 15” to fulfill different consumer demands. (16ms response time only available with 15.4” display).
The BenQ Joybook R53 is also equipped with the newest technology, including the latest Intel Centrino Mobile Technology with a higher frequency of 533MHz and DDR II (dual channel), which increases the overall performance by 10 to 15% when compared with the previous DDR I. The BenQ Joybook R53 comes outfitted with BenQ’s exclusive software applications, including QPresentation software to automatically optimize your presentation environment and projector settings, QPower software that automatically selects the optimal power settings for more efficient use of your battery, and QMedia software for an easy access of a wide range of multimedia software programs.
