iBook Extinction

Looks like the iBook will be going the way of the dinosaurs this May as they are replaced by the new Intel Macbook. (note the lack of “Pro” at the end).

For those that just picked up an iBook…I guess you should have read the news as most Apple related websites are posting that in 30 to 60 days, the iBook will be dropped in favor of the new machines.

The entry level Macbook will include a 13.3 inch screen, built in iSight, and either Intel Core Solo or Core Duo processors. The iBook seven year run is over, long live the Macbook.
