Notebooks Powered by Jet Engines

If you thought fuel cell batteries were going to replace the current battery technology for laptops, you might have been wrong as MIT researchers are working on developing a turbine engine built from six silicon wafers powered by liquid butane that can produce between 10 and 100 watts of electricity. If it works out, the laptop could run between 15 and 30 hours between refuelings.

I wonder though if a jet engine laptop will ever be allowed on a jet engine plane, atleast with the current battery crisis being so crazy.
