Sharp’s Mebius PC-AE50M

SharpSharp released a new notebook, and unfortunately I think they picked the wrong time as everyone is releasing new models, and I think people will either miss or forget about Sharp’s single offering: the Mebius PC-AE50M.

I think another thing that will hurt the Mebius PC-AE50M is the lack of a Core Duo processor in it, as it uses an AMD Sempron 3000, which runs at 1.8GHz. It is not too heavy at 2.8 kilograms and can pack upwards of 1.5GB of RAM, and a 60GB hard drive. It is surrounded with a 15 inch LCD, 802.11b/g wireless connectivity, a CD-R/RW & DVD-ROM combo drive.

So while it does not knock my socks off, if the price is right, and they really stand behind their product, it might not get lost in the release madness currently going on.
